--in All Our Affairs

"Every end contains a new beginning." This is an ancient Chinese saying which surely applies to the affairs of men, movements, and even magazines. Therefore, we hope and intend that this new year will mark many new beginnings in the Grapevine. We feel, after due inventory, that the "meeting in print" concept which has long defined the GV policy is no longer accurate nor adequate.

We realize that, just as AA itself has come of age, so must our official magazine grow and change in order to reflect the needs of our maturing fellowship.
