1909 --W.L.G., New Rochelle, N.Y.--1962
Through the death of W.L.G., New Rochelle, in September, the Grapevine lost one of its most valuable contributors, its readers a light-source of understanding and joy. What he gave was irreplaceable. On this earth, he lives on in the lives of thousands who profited by his writings. His recent contributions include "The Idea of Co-Sponsorship" in October and a Deacon's Corner item in this issue. We think W.L.G. would most like to be remembered for his incomparable "Boy Lying in the Grass" in the Grapevine of August, 1962.
