Recently I received a letter with some badly needed AA literature from my uncle, Warren D., who has been on the program eleven years. In the literature was the Conference Digest 1966 which had your article "630 Loners helped by GSO and sponsors." It really hit the spot especially now that I'm in Vietnam.

I've been on the program about seventeen months now and left my home group in San Diego, Calif, about two weeks before my first-year cake was due. I have made contact with another AA Loner and fellow San Diegan. We got together in Saigon for a few hours about three weeks ago. (My first AA meeting in half a year.) Wow was it a good feeling!
