Tradition Three revised?

I am a very grateful alcoholic. I have had complete abstinence since September 4, 1966. Today, I went to a meeting marked "closed" in the local AA directory. They asked me to leave because I am also an addict. They said, "No dual problems allowed."

I have been attending AA all the years of my sobriety. The first five years, I went to an average of fourteen meetings per week. The next three, I attended an average of eight per week. The last two-plus years, I have attended an average of four per week. I consider myself a positive AA member and do extensive Twelfth Step work. I have never been asked to leave an AA meeting before.
