Since I came to AA and got sober, my gratitude has been overwhelming. In taking the Third Step, I reflect on an article in the November Grapevine, "Let Go and Let God." My God keeps me sober in every area of my life and supplies my every need. I have devoted most of my sober life to trying to be of service to those like me. My major goal in life is to try to prevent others from suffering and hurting the way I did--or to help them use that hurt in order to find God.
