Welcome home

"Them Against Me," in the April Grapevine, tells about some of our fears in coming back to our group after a slip. In my case, the helping hand of AA was there. I had to grasp it--or face insanity, jail, or death. Fortunately, I'd had five years of AA, plus almost another year of "doing it on my own" (no meetings). Even in my renewed alcoholic fog, I knew that AA's hand was my only hope.
