A "Loner" at Sea

DID you ever stop to think of how a "Loner" makes the grade? He may be alone on a tropical island or in some large far-off city where A.A. is not yet known but somehow with the aid of the Big Book, the pamphlets, The A.A. Grapevine and above all with the aid of "The Guy Upstairs," he does make it. His is not the easy way.

The story of one "Loner" is told through his letters to the General Service Headquarters in New York City. With his permission we are sharing this man's story with other A.A.s. This is his story as he tells it:
