A Non-alcoholic Say's: "Thanks" to AA

ON MARCH 20th, 1951, my old friend Jim walked into my office and asked me point-blank if I could write a short article for publication in the Grapevine. I would try, I told him. We then exchanged the usual small talk about business and children and it is only after Jim departed I realized I had been a witness for the past few months to a startling change in the life of Jim and several others in the small town I live in.
