Your Insurance Policy

Is it time for you to renew your insurance? You hold an insurance policy which must not be allowed to lapse for even one day, for it is payable to the one you owe the best in the world--yourself.

Your membership in AA is your insurance. When you joined AA, you took out a policy on your serenity and your sobriety, assets so valuable that they must be insured--but you cannot make your premium payments with money. This is a special policy--it involves not dollars but deeds. And, whether your association with AA is ten minutes, ten months, or ten years long, if you do not meet your daily premiums by living up to the terms of the policy, you are not properly insured. So let's review those terms.
