Travelin' Man

I'M a traveling salesman and spend an average of three hundred nights each year away from home. My travels cover the northwest corner of the United States. On numerous occasions I have heard the remark, "If I just had some other type of work, didn't have to travel most of the time and stay in hotels, I could make this program." I have many times heard wives of traveling men say, "If he just didn't have to be away from home so much, it wouldn't be so hard for him." Then again, I have heard the remark, "In my travels I have to entertain my customers; they expect me to take them out, buy drinks and drink with them."
