. . . Restore Us to Sanity
"RESTORE": to bring back to a state of health, soundness, or vigor. . .this fact we "came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could" do for our brains. . .i.e., "restore us to sanity."
It is obvious that any evil pursuit we might engage in after this restoration. . .any persistence in anything which makes for a letdown of harmony with that Higher Power, is bound to lead towards inner discontentment.
Either we experience the steady energy of harmony with this Power greater than ourselves, or else a steadily decreasing of that vital inside energy, until, once again... Login to read more
