Depression and "The Capacity to Be Honest.

WE ARE told on page 58 of the Big Book, in Chapter Five, "There are those, too, who suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them do recover if they have the capacity to be honest." I have been such a one, and not until almost five years in AA lay behind me did I begin to enjoy the serenity that comes to many members much sooner.
