Why Are We Here?

IN THE LAST couple of years, the media have devoted more and more space to articles posing questions about the causes of alcoholism and reporting research on the topic. Undoubtedly, AA members have derived some benefit from these stories. A disadvantage, however, is that too often the latest article of this sort becomes the topic of an AA discussion meeting.
