Sicker Quicker

Some of us just got

THREE YEARS ago, I threw in the towel. I was sick and tired of fighting the depressions, the bottle, and life itself. I admitted defeat and was as beaten as anyone who drank for thirty years. But I was twenty years old on that rainy night when I arrived at my first AA meeting.

I was the youngest member of that group, and I am the youngest member in my home group today. The older members helped me immeasurably. They were always there to answer my questions and to help guide me through the Twelve Steps.
