Trinidad

I WAS BORN on a small sugar estate in south Trinidad, and I am the only child of my parents. I was loved by them and by many of the people on the estate, due to my sincerity and obedience. I was very bright in school, but I was already having casual drinks now and again with my parents. Then came the time I took a couple of drinks before leaving for school in the morning, and this went on.
