Bill Collector

WHEN PEOPLE owe money, I pick up the phone. Many of you have gotten a call from me, or from my colleagues. I'm a bill collector, and I'm good at my job.

I work for a large department-store chain, where I handle only the toughest accounts, those that have not had a full payment in four months or more. I'm a specialist; I collect just enough money to save the account from default, then give it back to the less experienced collector who was handling it previously.
