24 and More

IF WE TRULY believe in the concept of "twenty-four hours at a time," then we can safely anticipate many, many sober twenty-four-hour periods in the life ahead.

In all of this new life, cutting it back to "just twenty-four hours" is the very foundation for our future. As each twenty-four hours becomes yet another twenty-four, we can perceive various stages on the road that we are traveling. We might say that there are four stages of progress in the Fellowship: beginning in AA, early AA life, middle AA life, and ongoing AA life.
