A Painful Resentment
Bitterness from an old hurt caused pain--even after fifteen years of sobriety
THERE IT WAS--that sharp stab of pain in the gut, coming harder now, faster than before. I could time them, one about every ninety seconds. The pains had started a week earlier, so I guessed I'd better see the doctor.
