When the Choices Are Few

How AA grows

SO OFTEN, I run across friends who have been active in AA for many years and tell me that they don't go to meetings anymore, because the group has changed and they no longer enjoy the meetings.

Out here, it has always been a saying that if someone comes out of a meeting feeling lower than when he went in, there is something wrong with either him or the meeting. If he checks with some of his friends, he may find that many of them are also unhappy with the new course that the meetings are taking.
