Sobriety is a continuing adventure when we remain teachable

HAVE YOU ever wondered, as you listened to others at meetings, why some people's AA programs seem to have more vitality than others? I have. This enthusiasm for the program is not based on age, education, sex, race, or length of sobriety. Recently, I've discerned that teachableness is the quality that accounts for the difference in individual lives and makes our own sobriety either an adventure or a chore.
