Fresh out of rehab--and all alone
NO sponsor, no home group, certain I had to go it alone--the denial, the defiance, the rebellion, the false pride, the arrogance, and the insanity added up to alcoholism at its finest. In retrospect, I was a walking example of what not to do in the AA program. The symptoms of this disease were killing me and I hadn't even taken the first drink.
