A Visible Glow

In "An Eye Toward Conservation" (October 1992 issue), the author suggested that AA needs to evaluate its spending. The writer's comments on service reports and the confusion they cause for the newcomer took me back to my early days as a newcomer. I remember not knowing the difference between a GSR and GSO. I used to be suspicious when our group calculated its contributions to New York. Somehow, I linked New York with the mob and that led me to fear that our money might be misused.
