When the Scorecard Read Zero

This AA finally became willing to listen

One of the basic concepts of AA is that we carry the message to suffering alcoholics through our own experience and in our own words. We talk about what we were like, what happened, and what we are like now.

On the morning of June 5, 1975, when my life seemed to be hanging in the balance, the words that an alcoholic had spoken to me years earlier slipped into my consciousness.
