Acceptance--one Day at a Time

She gained some insight, self-esteem, self-respect, and self-confidence

I come from a community of 1200 people. The majority are Inuit, and the number of sober people there is very small. At first, I had no intention to quit drinking. If my spouse was going to get sober, I did not intend to stick with him. He spoke of this "God" thing, and I was almost too frightened to even listen to the concept.
