AA After Katrina

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina. AAs meet, rebuild, and continue to carry the message

AA meetings in the Gulf States devastated by Hurricane Katrina are slowly recovering from the aftereffects of the category five storm that cut a swath through Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Reports from AA members in the area indicate that, even in these most difficult circumstances, they stuck to the basics: they prayed, they didn't drink, and they went to meetings. In mid-September, just before this issue went to press, two trusted servants gave the Grapevine reports of AA activity along the Gulf.
