On his own in China, a member finds AA

Does the "Road of Happy Destiny" include an on-ramp to the information superhighway? You bet it does.

While completing my master's degree, I was offered the opportunity to teach for a semester at Xi'an International Studies University in Xi'an, China. The idea intrigued me. It also terrified me. Someone said that almost all business and social activities in the East centered on drinking. During four years of sobriety, I had relied on meetings to "manage" both my sobriety and my life.
