Does the "Oldtimer" Have Problems

A Nine-Year Man States His Case

DOES the "old timer," the individual who has been a member from upwards of three or four years have a problem? Is the problem really any different from that confronting his juniors; if it is not, how may the problem be solved? Or, better yet, may the situation be avoided before it becomes a serious problem?

Gerontology is the scientific study of the phenomena of old age. It is getting a big play these days--what with people living longer, retiring earlier and facing a barren existence of boredom and inactivity--unprepared spiritually, emotionally and culturally for a period which should be the richest in their lives.
