Sticking Close

I was told in my early days that, to keep what I have, I must give it away. That is why I am involved in service. My ego did grow, but it was soon deflated by my fellow members! I did not like it. . .but I came to realize just how right they were. My sobriety does not depend on whether I can find good speakers, or be a good secretary. I believe I can stay sober if I work this program, and stick close to my home group.
