Who Are You?

While I was working at the ticket counter at Dallas/Ft. Worth airport a seventeen-year-old girl came to claim a prepaid airline ticket.

This ticket was to take her home for the Christmas holidays. Yet, as company policy states, a valid ID is required. But the young girl had none, and so was asked if she had anything with her name on it.

Reaching into her bag, she produced a Big Book. The book was well used, with the usual rainbow of colored underlinings.

On the first page was the girl's name--a gift from her loving sponsor.
