Yes, It's Okay

When I first came into AA, I was told not to go near a woman. What a way to screw up someone's head. What was I to do, put my virility on hold? What a way, I found out, to deal with lust and my concept of relationships with the opposite sex. Yes, it's okay to date in sobriety, but I need to look at my motivation. If both of us seem to get along okay, good: go. If I just want sex, no good: don't go. These are my morals. I am the one who feels the hurt and inflicts pain on the other. How do I know when I am doing God's will? I don't, but I certainly know when I'm not.
