A Better Life

I saw a new man at work. As I have done before, I wished that he would get in trouble and be "let go" by the union. But I realized that by wishing him ill will, I was also wishing ill will toward his family--people I have never met.

I chose to do an inventory on why my thinking was so mean and spiteful. After doing Step Four, I could see that I was jealous of someone who did not have the problems with drinking that I had had.
