The Lighted Lamp

WITH Volume II, Number 1 of The Grapevine, the "lighted lamp" which Bill had referred to in our first editorial was taken over by a new and willing board of AA members, only one of the original staff remaining active. There were then over 2,500 subscribers from Maine to California and AA had a representative monthly paper, no longer merely an area publication. To our successors who have continued the work so well and faithfully over the years, may we express, on this tenth anniversary of the paper, our appreciation and may we wish Godspeed to those currently engaged in the publication and distribution of The AA Grapevine.
