Tuning in to the Spirit

After putting it off until there was no other viable solution to the problem, I came into AA in April 1980. I know today that each of us recovers differently, and for me a spiritual recovery was apparently the thing to be handled first. I, of course, didn't know that, nor did I engineer it. My Higher Power did.
