The Parlor Prospect

It was after midnight when the middle-aged lady opened the door and invited George and me into her well-kept parlor. She didn't look like a person who had just phoned AA for help. At first we thought someone else in the house might have the alcohol problem but as it turned out, she was our pigeon.
