A Breakthrough--A Miracle

My name is Kevin and I'm an alcoholic. I'm not ashamed of being afflicted by this disease of alcoholism. It just happens that I am also a diabetic and, isn't it interesting, no one expects me to be ashamed of having that disease, or any other disease. If I can accept that alcoholism is a disease, then why should I or anyone else be ashamed of having this particular disease?
