Opinions: Yours, Mine, and Ours
Tenth Tradition - Alcoholics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the AA name ought never be drawn into public controversy.
Most of us understand the importance of Tradition Ten as it applies to AA as a whole. We have no trouble imagining what a fiasco would result if our General Service Office in New York began to endorse political candidates, support other causes, approve or disapprove of decisions made by religious bodies, or in any other way stray from our main objective.
