What do you say to AA's critics?
AA has to make it real simple because alcoholics are bone-heads. You tell them, 'Don't take that first drink.' And alkies will nod, 'Yeah, sure. Okay, got it.' Then they go and drink again anyway, over and over. Why would anybody want to work with them?"
