Responses from readers to the February and May 1999 issues on the topic of using the Lord's Prayer at AA meetings.
First, I'd like to state that I believe the Lord's Prayer to be such an expression of "good living" that it may well be a standard by which other prayers might be judged--and, often, found lacking. However, I must salute the author of "A Contradiction in Terms?" for her well-constructed argument concerning the ritual recitation of this prayer within the supposed nonsectarian confines of Alcoholics Anonymous.
