THERE'S NO BARRIER TO RECOVERY

One of the things I often hear in our recovery community here goes something like this: "The true test of your sobriety comes when you get out there in the real world." I have always felt that this does not leave much hope or incentive for working the program behind bars, especially for those with lengthy or even life sentences. If the program only works in free society, why bother, if you will not be in free society anytime soon, if at all? How can it help in prison?
