A relapsing businessman faces a fellow AA in an out-of-town bar

I came into AA at age 35 in New York City. I was thoroughly impressed with the program socially: I attended luncheons for several years at an AA men's lunch club. On Saturday nights, I played poker with AA friends. I enjoyed speaking at open meetings and sharing at closed meetings. I was an AA gadabout. I liked AA people.
