Sober but away from AA for years, he found that his alcoholic thinking was back
THE WONDERFUL thing about AA is the better you get, the more you get back into real life. When I first arrived I had little to do but work and go to meetings. Boy, did some of those old-timers save my butt, with all their sayings like, "Take the cotton out of your ears and put it in your mouth."
