Planting the seed

I worked in a department with all men. I really liked what I did, but I had my problems with some of the guys, especially one in particular--Jeff. For some reason we just did not hit it off. We never had words, he just disliked me. His attitude toward me started to manifest itself in other ways beyond just the dirty looks I would get when I walked into the room. He would take my lunch, go into my locker and mess it up, do things to my car and send me very scary messages. The things he did are too numerous to mention. I couldn't prove it was Jeff, but I knew and everyone else did, too. I took the harassment for almost two years before taking a job elsewhere on the site.
