A little time off leads to a long trip back
The first time i came to Alcoholics Anonymous on my own initiative was in September 1987. At once, I fell in love with AA, went to plenty of meetings, and picked up a red ninety-day chip in Tampa, Florida.
But I still felt unhappiness gnawing at me--there were some things I was doing and some things I was not doing.
