Any lengths-even Brooklyn
I TREKKED out to Brooklyn tonight.
A classmate of mine had mentioned not being able to "touch that stuff" when alcohol was mentioned. After class (and summoning some courage) I asked if he went to meetings.
"You mean, Alcoholics Anonymous meetings?" he said, in apparent shock that I was asking that question. He affirmed he did, and had been sober for six months. Before parting, however, he leveled with me and said he only had one day back. I offered my phone number, and we made a plan to make a meeting in his area.
