New vault doubles Archives' space
The department reopens with tours and a reception on March 12, 2010
The General Service Office Archives formally reopened with an open house on March 12, 2010, after renovations that include a new vault storage area and a processing room.
The reconstruction of the storage vault, which began in October 2009, doubles the storage space to accommodate a growing collection of AA artifacts. The workroom was added to more efficiently process collections.
