My first meeting—an amends
The first time I walked into a meeting was with someone who was making an amends to me. When the person said, "I am sorry; please tell me what I can do to make these wrongs up to you," my response was, "Take me to a meeting." That person did, right then and there, and became my temporary sponsor.
