Finally, he got the story of a lifetime
I was an only child, raised by a hard-working mother and father who sacrificed much and gave generously of their time and energy. Money was tight, but we never missed a meal. And much of what little spare time my parents had was spent with me.
Despite that, I found my childhood, and particularly my teenage years, emotionally painful.
