He measured his distance in bottles, but help was much closer than he thought
I was drunk and away from home that Thursday night when my wife called me. She said that she hadn’t had a drink since Sunday and had called AA.
“What can I do for you?” I asked her.
She replied, “There’s Al-Anon for people like you.”
