You Weren't Arrested--you Were Rescued
AA showed him a whole new way of life
I'M WRITING this from a prison, in which I am serving a two-year sentence. When I first arrived here, I guess I was like so many other inmates--I had a lot of mixed feelings, and I was blaming everybody else for my being here.
After I had been here for a couple of weeks, I discovered some AA pamphlets. And after answering about fifteen questions in one of them, I discovered I was an alcoholic, among other things. I say "other things," because I was also a very emotionally disturbed person, and now I know most alcoholics are.
