Two-Nation Attack on Drunk Driving
OTTAWA--The governments of Canada and the United States have embarked on a joint project to reduce the number of auto accidents in which alcohol plays a part, the Transport Minister, Don Jamie-son, announced.
The project, a result of an informal agreement reached in June 1970 between Mr. Jamieson and Secretary of Transportation John A. Volpe, will attempt to find measures to combat drinking by drivers.
